True North: A Growing Resource for Care + Action
In times of uncertainty, it can be hard to know where to turn or what to do. True North is a living resource—a collection of ways to care for yourself, support your community, and stay engaged with what matters. There is no expectation to do everything, only an invitation to do something.

This list will evolve as we discover more opportunities, and we welcome contributions. If you have a resource, organization, or action that aligns with this vision, we’d love to include it. Together, like birds in formation, we lift each other, rest when needed, and keep moving forward.

In 2026, several Denver-based nonprofit organizations are actively organizing to protect immigrants from ICE through rapid response networks, legal advocacy, and direct community support.
You can contact these three groups to volunteer or provide assistance:
Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC)
This statewide coalition leads the "Keep Families Together" campaign. They organize "Know Your Rights" trainings and manage the Colorado Rapid Response Network (CORRN), which uses trained volunteers to document and respond to ICE activity.

Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN)
RMIAN provides free legal and social services to adults in immigration detention at the Aurora facility and to immigrant children. They rely on volunteer attorneys and community members to ensure due process for those in deportation proceedings.

American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) - Colorado
